We've got another SLIVER Showdown coming this Friday! To celebrate the start of Season 8, we'll be playing Fortnite for our next SLIVER Showdown. Get ready for another thrilling tournament LIVE on the Theta Network. Also we've still got the same amazing prize pool with all TFuel donations going to the winners!

1st: $125 + 50% TFuel Donated + Showdown Shirt
2nd: $75 + 30% TFuel Donated + Showdown Shirt
3rd: $50 + 20% TFuel Donated + Showdown Shirt
How to Participate
Anyone can be considered for an invite to this showdown! The tournament format will be announced on 2/28.
To be considered for an invite to this upcoming SLIVER Showdown, you must do the following:
1) Tweet (or IG) bout your favorite memory playing Fortnite
2) Add #SLIVERShowdown and tag @SLIVERtv360
3) Add a cool clip, picture, or anything that represents yourself and your Fortnite gameplay to your Tweet (or IG Post)
We will be be inviting players via Twitter/IG DM by Thursday @ 7pm PST
Bonus Points:
1) If your submission is creative / funny / amazing
2) You have a SLIVER Overlay in your clip

Tournament Rules and Description
SLIVER Tournament FORTNITE Rules: 1v1v1 Matches (3/1 @ 10am PST)
Game Setup
Players will join a lobby with an observer/referee to start the game. This tournament will be open to all regions. Observer will be located in NA-West.
How to Win
For this tournament you will play THREE games. Each game you must keep track of your kills for each game played. The combined amount of kills for each game will determine which team will win the match. If out of the three games played the kills are tied a third match will be played to determine a winner.
Streaming Rules
You must have your delay set to 120 seconds (2 minutes) on your OBS settings if you are streaming, failing to do so will result in a forfeit and or a replay of the match that was played.
You must also have your SLIVER overlay up while participating in the tournament if you are streaming.
The entire tournament will be broadcasted to the Theta Network through the observer / referee in your games.
Sabotage
You will party up with your opponent and observer. Any player inside of that queued session MAY NOT take any actions to disrupt the performance of their opponent.
Examples of sabotage include but are not limited to:
Breaking or weakening opponent's built or non built structures or cover by any means.
Causing opponents to miss shots or miss opportunities for advancing their scores in any way shape or form.
Building in front of your opponent.
Boogie Bombing your opponent.
The use of a boogie bomb on your opponent at any point in the game are subject to disqualifications.
Compromising your opponent’s location
Anything that negatively affects opponent.vision and movement
Match Issues
For no-shows in this tournament if you fail to respond within a fair given time frame you may be forfeited from the tournament.
All forfeits will be handled and made by the judgement of SLIVER
All forfeits to be valid will be reported by the players for them to seek if the match should be replayed and or a forfeit of the match
In the event of a disconnect, the kills at the point of disconnect shall stand. The disconnect time shall be counted as time of death.
Observer / Referee
You will have an observer from SLIVER join your squad to spectate each game. Make sure to follow directions and be timely with requests as they come.
Communications
We will have a #showdown-chat and #showdown-announcements text channels in the SLIVER to handle tournament operations. We would also request current games to join our match voice channels for additional instructions as needed. Please be attentive to this channel and make sure to report anything that may need attention during the tournament.
Standby Pool
In the RO9 portion of the tournament we will welcome players to a standby room where they will be fill in for any participants that are a no-show to their match.

9 Participants
1st Place: $125 USD + SHOWDOWN SHIRT + 50% of Donated Theta
2nd Place: $75 USD + SHOWDOWN SHIRT + 30% of Donated Theta
3rd Place: $50 USD + SHOWDOWN SHIRT + 20% of Donated Theta
4th-8th Place: Theta Shirts
* We will be announcing that any Theta donations received during the event will be added to the prize pool. This will be distributed as mentioned above.
